Simple...mineral spirits work well, or simply acetone (nail polish remover) get a paper towel or tarry cloth and rub it into the tail light in a circular motion.

DO NOT SCRATCH AT IT!

Reasons for it coming out bad:

1. Poor prep
2. Too cold/hot
3. Wind is an issue
4. Bugs (hate them)

When you get it off simply redo my process is:

(1) roll of paper towels
(1) bottle of rubbing alcohol
(1) can of VHT Nite Shades
(1) space heater or simply a warm room with little/no dust

1.Wipe down the tail light with rubbing alcohol (not a lot)
2. Let it dry out and wipe off with paper towel to get excess debris off.
3. Shake can 30 seconds - 1 minute (very important)
4. Spray 6-10" away from tail light in even strokes either up and down or side to side, don't go crazy (no matter how tempting)
5. Allow layer to dry 1 minute (even if there are spots you missed, let it dry!!!
6. Now spray in the opposite way (up and down now do side to side)
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6, 2-3 times.
8. Place in front of heater on a medium heat or warm room for 20-30 minutes.
9. Wait full hour before installation again
10. Enjoy

For me it was nice, however since I didn't get the tails clear coated it was a basic flat color, however I liked that way since I didn't want a shine to the lights. Now I don't have to worry since I got new tails.

But yes, Ooops is the the only stuff besides acetone which will remove the tint and believe me the longer it sits on there, the harder it is to remove, and after a while you'll end up destroying the light in the process of removing the tint, so be prepared to fix mistakes early.
