Where do you get the bezel? I'm looking for an all red...who knows maybe I can't simply paint it? lol

Either paint the one you have or use vinyl to cover it.

You can buy colored film from Anchoroptics.com. You can also buy diffuser film there too. Diffuser film is to cut down the brightness of whatever you are lighting up. It also helps even out the color.

K, that makes the clock change pretty simple but the speedo cluster, is there a way to change the color of that with out the LED change? Cant I just color the bulbs with a marker or put vinyl behind the cluster?

you can but I'm pretty sure the colors are goign to either turn into a different color or it will just look really faded.

I saw one of the howto picts in the random gallery. i had been wanting to change the clock color for quite some time now but had never tried. i saw this and decided to do it. Damn that was easy. About 10 minutes to do for something I have been planning for a couple years lol. Thanks!

Just an FYI for newer Sprectra owners. I have an 09 Spec5 and have been wanting to change over the color from green to blue for a while now and thought i would start with the easiest one first. So this weekend i took out the clock and was disappointed to find that Kia is no longer using a colored lens for this, but LED's to light up the clock. Mine had what i am assuming is an LCD screen very similiar to the one on the instrument cluster. Oh well i still plan on changing the colors throughout the car, i just need more practice on old circuit boards as i never did this type of stuff before and am still afraid i will fry the board.

You can change the LCD screen if you know what you're doing. But you can still change the color by putting colored cellophane in front of the LCD screen. The LCD screen should not get hot enough to do any harm to anything.
