Okay i got it... it was kinda strange but heres how i did it.

First i unscrewed 2 screws by speedometer and then I pulled up the Top half of the hub that is between steering wheel and the dash. Just put two fingers in the turn signal and windshiel wiper and pull up. Then the entire black piece around AC and CD player will pull out. Itll be kinda tough and make noise but it worked for me without any damage.

Ok, how about the rest of the dash? (I need to get to the defroster vents.)

Are you talking about for painting the vents themselves?

No I need to replace them. My driver's side pretty much shattered, and my passenger side is cracked.

They are a pain to pop out, but can be done. I think one of them has to put on from the inside also.. (I think)Been awhile since I had mine out.

Of the 4 vents that defrost (2 in middle of winshield, one for drivers side window and one for passenger side window) the driver's vent is the only one that pops out, the other three are screwed in from the back side of the dash.

Need to replace two defrost grilles (one broke) but instrument panel (in fact, the whole dash) need to be removed.

Any pics would be helpful.

I have pics on here and on my harddrive. I'll find some.

Harnesses and plugs are the thing to remember to unplug, and then plug back. The rest is just 10mm bolts on the left side, right side and center. 2, 12mm or maybe 14mm screws to drop the steering wheel. Whole console tilts forward or can be removed out of the car.

Everything on the dash is mounted from behind to the support steel on the underside of the dash. To remove the entire dash, supports and main wiring harness...

1-Remove the vent/radio housing.
2-Remove the cover panels on either side of the dash that get cover when the door is closed.
3-Remove the panel under the steering wheel.
4- Remove glove box to open space inside of dash.
5-Remove four bolts and connector holding passenger side airbag and remove carefully.
6-Remove cover plate over shifter.
7-Remove the center console.(2 bolts under armrest and 4 screws-2 on either side of the console)
8-Disconnect the wiring harnesses on either side of dash.(White and black connectors. 2 on driver 1 on passenger.
9-Remove the four bolts holding the center of the dash to the floor.
10- remove two bolts on drivers side dash where cover was and same on passenger side.
11- Unbolt the steering column ( 2 bolts under the wheel) and let it rest on floor.
12- The entire dash will remove from the car as 1 piece and each component can be taken out from there.

It isn't worth it to fish for the bolts from the inside. Take the support bar out and work on it outside the car. much faster.

It seems confusing, but easy if you take your time.

These instruction aren't coimpletely in order. Only the last few are...lol

Hope it helps.
