HEY HEY whats up guys. I'm sitting ar work and realized that I've done a good bit to my car but have never actually started a build thread, so here it is!!!! Since I'm at work, I can't post any pictures right this second but will have many up by the end of the day. so lets get started.
I'll start with what I have today and then show pictures of how it got there.
Start with the front and work back
I have Philips Xteme Power headlights, ebay 3000k fogs. debadged the grill. I have a K&N sri, red Kia strurt bar, red wire covers over some of the wire/hoses in the engine bay.
Inside I have changed all the inteior bulbs to white LEDs. HUGE difference. I have a Kenwood Excelon head unit (can't remember the model right off hand), blue leds under the dash (shine on feet) 1 12" Hifonics Brutus sub powered by a California "1200w" amp (its a jank brand so its more like 300w)
I had a set of new rims for about a week then took them off because I wanted bigger tires but didn't want to spend the money on them lol
I took off the Kia and Spectra5 emblem off the rear and added a Status emblem. I also put a semi-universal bumper gard thing (goes right on top of the bumber so you don't scratch the bumper loading stuff in the hatch.
Thats it for now, soon I will be getting a new CD player and playing with my exhaust, probably just a universal flowmaster muffler from autozone will do it.
Like I said, I'll get pictures up this afternoon of everything so far, in the mean time, let me know what you guys think!

Thank ya very much! I was also thinking of getting a shark fin antenna. I found one that will work for $23ish. Shark fin
I know it says for a soul but I measured and it will fit over the spec5 antenna. what do you guys think?

Haha! What a coincidence that you post about the shark fin antenna. I just got mine in the mail yesterday.

I bought mine from the same seller on Ebay and let me warn you right now, I chose the slow shipping and it took mine just under a month to arrive.

I believe it is worth the extra money to get expedited shipping and he also gives you a tracking number.

Mine is just a fake shark fin since the real antenna on a Spectra sedan is located on the right side of the trunk. I think it still looks great though!

When I am done painting my interior trim pieces, I will post a photo or two of my antenna.

Look forward to seeing your whips modifications!

- Jeff

This is a mock add my buddy made for me

these are some recent things I have done
here is my new Status emblem. You can also see the bumper cover I was talking about.

I covered the gear plate in black vinyl because it was cracked and I think it looks better black

Here are the yellow fogs that I have, they seem to have faded a lot since I got them so I ordered new ones that should be here soon. they are cheap ebay ones so its ok to go through a few pairs.

Here is just a shot that I took at work one day

Thats all for now, this weekend I will be doing some tinkering and will take some more photos of the over all car and have my buddy do some more nice shots.

If you are contemplating to put a shark fin on a Spec5 don't do it. It might work with the stock radio and antenna wiring but it won't with an after-market head unit. At least it wouldn't with my JVC HD radio. Just not enough antenna to make good reception. I had to put on an after-market 24" antenna to get any kind of good reception.

Have you thought about re-painting your OEM wheels? Here is a pic of mine:

I was pretty sure it would be really poor reception, but I very rarely listen to the radio. The only time I do is for Cleveland Browns games, and that's usually AM and way. I might get it soon and just see, if it doesn't look very good, no biggie, I'll just pop it off. Do you happen to have a picture of yours? I want to know what it looks like, or at least have a good idea how it will look. And yes, I have thought about painting my wheels. I was thinking a high gloss black, but I'm not sure just yet, I really like the color of silver right now..hmmm

Here is an idea of a shark fin on my car. Pardon me trying to be tough in not tough clothes lol that was right after my little brothers graduation ceremony and my buddy got a new lens that he wanted to play with. but yeah, I really like the look of it. let me know what you guys think, the one I would order would be a better color match than this (this was done on paint)

yeah it came with two. I didn't take a picture of the final because you wouldn't have been able to tell anything besides the lights were on. Comparing them was the best way to show the brightness, I'll probably take another tonight when its dark to give an even better idea. But yeah, way brighter than the other LEDs I had

Don't have any pics of the Shark Fin I tried. Sold it to one of my local car club member.
