Ok so I was planning on getting the eibach springs for my 2008 but I have been looking at alot of other peoples pictures and it seems like there is still too much of a gap in the front. so what I was wondering would the kfx coilovers be a better option and allow me to level out the gaps? also I have 2 amps and 2 12s and lots of dynamat in the trunk so the rear sits a little lower already. would the coilovers give a decent ride because this is a daily driver?
Decent ride and lower are interests at odds with each other. If you go lower, you'll be going stiffer. Eibach makes 2 sets for the Spectra. The ProKit is the popular one, lower just over an inch. The SportLine set is just over an inch and a half, but stiffer. My car with the ProKit;

I'm dropping mine and I've got a system. Mine's a daily driver. If you don't mind waiting till this Friday I'll get pics up. I'm dropping the car on Friday...surprise! Yes I also ordered the coil spacers to raise the back end. Hopefully the size I got (thanks to Bill's guidance) will solve the sagging back end.
So we'll see what happens. I do plan on doing coil overs in the future. Stiffness is more in the spring while the coil over allows you to dial in the different settings. It's more expensive because it's more extensive. Either way as I said, wait till this Friday and we'll go from there.

Probably not, I'm going to ride the Tibby springs myself.
All I can say is if your not going to do coil overs in the future and your keeping the springs then invest into struts. I've heard the guys at the dealership recommend KYB's and Monroe's for replacment. Only thing I can say on that is KYB GR2's are the way to go which will run between $280-$300 all around.

Well that's the strut mount and boot. I check for the actual full strut assembly and it's not listed. Nice work Ped, but not it.
I did find Summit Racing has it but you need to find the ones for the Tibby for our cars.

So far the coilovers seem the best for my situation because it seems like i would spend the same amount on new springs struts and coil spacers to help the back end... Im gonna wait and see how bakwoods car turns out and then go from there...thanks for all the input
I've got eibachs pro kit on mine and 215/55/16 tires on my factory rims and there is vertually no gap, pics are either on the gallery or on a thread named Dracos whip in the 4.5-09 spectra 5/cerato, sorry not good at posting or moving around pics. Ride is like factory.

If you bought the gr2 tiburon struts you wont need to buy spacers and it will be cheaper than coilovers. Although if you can afford the coilovers that is what I would buy
