i just bought a 2002 optima with the 2.7L and cant find *#'^@ for it
i found headers and brake rotors and strut bar thas it
is there any tails or headlights or kits or engine mods like cams or intake manifolds or turbos
anthing at all
please i need you help

i can do 90% of all the work to my car but i lack an air compressor air toos and a welder so it limits me some what
i just had a 2000 neon and i cut the stock bumper and droped it down 3 1/2 inches ,i formed my own side skirts ,shaved the door handle lines into the car,flip floped the trunk so it opens flat with the ground instead of straight up and down ,i droped it about 3 inches on a sleeve over system,had lots more plans for the car but the tranny went out so i sold it and bought the kia.
i have to say the car surprised the *#'^@ out of me
it is a snappy car
my brother has a 99 svt contour with a 2.5L duretech motor with a 5 speed and they run neck and neck
but the one thing i dont like is i cant find *#'^@ for the car specially performance wise
and they make nothign body wise that i have found
so the more you can help and giude me it would be so appreciated
i will be posting pics every step of the way like i did on my neon forum

ebay has intakes and headers everything else is truely custom 2002 wrx front lip fits with small modding to it side skirts can be had from a hyundai sonata of the same year no rear bumpers are available except from korea and no one has done that in fear of getting jacked exhaust shops can make you a custom exhaust all parts for the engine that fit the tiburon will fit your car custom cam grinds cams, heads, intakes(with small modding), headers, built blocks, piggy back ecu's.... all of that from tibs work with your engine.... what type of modifications do i need to do if i get motor parts from a tibiron and whjat size motor does the tibiron have?and will i gain anything useing the engine part from a tibiron ?will the intake manifold work ?
i was also told the BMW side skirts will work on the 02 optima

if you can't get anything let me have the car I will make sure it is taken care of *L*

the tiburon internals and motor are exactly the same same with the Intake Manifold im saying all of the after market performance parts fit parts fit. i have no idea about the bmw side skirts...what year and body style bmw?

is the intake manifold a better manifold then the stock kia manifold ?
so kit wise pretty much go with the flow and if it looks like it fits try it and then modifie it lol
easy enough though
just time consuming
eventually the molding on the side of the car will be off and the indentation will be fiber glassed in and sanded smooth
i hate lines on my car
i like one smooth flowing car soo you will see good things from my kia

Only other thing I could suggest is getting a spare 2.7L motor and tear it apart and rebuild. Like beef up the internals, bore out the cylinder walls and P&P the intake mani and rest of the stuff. You'll be surprised how much power you can make by doing stuff like that.

Unfortunately with Kia we are the underdog so everything is custom. In terms of headlights and tails I can look into that for you. If your not keen on altezza's I can try getting you KDM tails for the car if there is a difference between Korea and US tails for the Optima.

no one makes custo mhead lights or tail lights for the optimas you have to do it your self or pay big bucks for a one off the intake manifodl is exactly the same from the tibby to the optima to the sonata....the motors are the same from head to toe... doin all the stuff BAKWOODS said would be awesome and they sell all those parts at NGM.COM built heads and block and internals and what not

right now im just looking in to getting cams and valve springs header and exhast and drop it about 1.5 then im gonna start on body
im not worried to much about tails or head lights b/c the car is gonna be blacked out
is there any grills for the car b/c i hate the chrome one on it now
