OMG that thing is awsome, direct competition for the mazda speed 3 etc. Coincidence that it is close in power to the speed 3 and srt4 I think not. That thing is going to be sweet and straight up Korean man heck yeah. I bet this is the Kia version of the Genesis coupe that is comming out next year for Hyundai. It is supposed to be turbo 2.0l 4 cylinder and a V6 version both of which are rear wheel drive.

that thing is hot, rims are hot, braking is hot, turbo is hot, (i sound like Paris Hilton...), cf accents are hot, console is hot, exterior is hot, however the automatic (even though slap stick) isn't so hot....they've gotta make it in manual i hate driving autos and i was always thinking that if sometime in the next 5yrs (if i don't kill my car by then) i might have to sell it and buy another of some type since Cali has the stupid smog testing rules. so figured i'd have to get a high-powered car right off the bad and this would be sooooo good to fill that spot

i agree they probably won't make it. Hopefully all car companies are going to be coming out with SOME kind of car to combat the high gas prices. Don't get me wrong I love HP and haulin arse around town, but with gas going up to 4 bucks a gallon this summer I am not going to buy a new IC engine car anytime soon.

Do we know what they are gunna call it. Thr front looks like a newer honda civic, the body looks like a pontiac g5, and the rear doesn't look like anything i can think of. It looks mean i would hate too see it in my rearview.

Wow...very good looking car. From the front and back it reminds me a little of the new Lancer/Evo, but twice as good. Lets cross our fingers and hope it makes it to production.

Hmm... just under the power limit under WRC regulations! Could we see a world rally championship with Kia as a contendor? I think it's very possible they could have produced 310hp just to break into the 300s, but with that number wrc is a no.
Something to think about.
