im thinking about getting some lowering springs for my 06 spectra5. does anyone have a how to on installing them, id like to do them myself if possible.

Naa, it belonged to a member that moved on. That thing was slammed, using some Springtech springs, for an 04 Tiburon, that I was going to use. Instead I found a good price on some H&Rs ... he had VW Golf springs befor that

It is really pretty easy. Go to autozone, or whatever store you have close and get the spring compressors.
For the front jack up the car on both sides and take off the tires. Open the hood. Remove the two bolts below that connect to the hub assembly. Unclip your brake line from the strut. Remove the top three bolts on either side of the car... NOT THE CENTER ONE. With a little work the whole unit will drop out of the car. Put it on the ground and firmly press your foot against the bottom of the the strut and take a 19mm i believe and remove the center bolt *WARNING - Spring and ect.. will launch about 3 - 4 feet. Stay out the the way* Put your new springs in, you probably wont need to compress them to put them back in the same way. Repeat steps with the back. Some others may offer different suggestions or ways but seriously I did this like 5 times for all four struts on my 04.5 while I was trying different springs. It works effectively. And I don't want to hear "this is dangerous" cause again there was no danger if you use common sense. I believe even kiakid does his springs similar to this. Thanks, Daemon

well ibought those springs installed the fronts no problme great drop but there is a problem the rear springs dont fit the diameter or the new spring is 1cm shorter then the oem one i bought the 2004-2008 model kit can anyone chime in wtf is going on ps. the springs are awsome ride perfect.... will post pic when i get the rear spring issue fixed
