Help with 2013 Kia Rio5 EX Upgrades

Hey guys, i just created a account for this forum. I've recently just bought my first car, a 2013 Kia Rio5 EX. I've had it for a couple months now. I am starting to hate the stock body kit, height, etc. I don't know much about cars but I've been looking into some aftermarket stuff.

I'm not sure if the Kia Rio has the same body as the previous year models, I wanted to look into buying some new exterior body kits and not sure if it would be compatible with it or not.

Also looking into lowering it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially some websites where I could find such parts.

-Thanks, Johnny

The new Rio is not compatible with the last generation, the completely different so no parts will be the same, even the engine is different.

That model is fairly new so there is some parts out there but not too many, most of them overseas which will need to be brought to the USA.

the car won't be the same price, once it leaves the dealership it basically diminishes by $5,000 right

Thats a very cool body kit but I dislike the front lip, it looks like it doesn't belong there, like its not matching the lines but the rest of it its really cool.

Didn't realize the EX came with a body kit. Mine didn't. Another car to look for some parts might be the Hyundai Veloster. They use the same drivetrain....I was eyeing a Veloster Cold Air Intake...but haven't picked one up yet because I'm working on the stereo system first.

Are you just going for a change in the cars styling or are you wanting a change in performance? If you want a little more kick to the car while you wait for styling parts to be released then you can look into doing a custom intake or exhaust on the car, maybe upgrade some of the electrical under the hood with a MSD system, switch out the stereo, all that fun stuff. Most of the work on these cars has been custom fabrication though. Browse through the forum and reach out to other members of the Kia Rio and I'm sure you will get some good ideas

Very nice kit! It could be made to fit but it would require a lot of work and is not a weekend project. Hope you have another car to drive while this one is down for a remodel. I'd love to see that kit on your car. Would be a truly one-off that nobody else on here has.
