This Months Ride of the month means a lot to this member as his good friend Craig that had passed away, was the one to give him the vehicle he has been working on.

Congrats to Matt aka 04kiario and his 04 Rio for claiming the spot of June's Ride of the Month here on Streetkiaz.

Some of the modifications done to his Rio include:

Custom Mesh Grills

Flowmaster muffler
HKS air filter and custom cold air intake
Megan Racing Headers
Interior and exterior lighting
Sunpro tachometer, vacuum and volt gauges.

15 inch rota slipstreams wrapped with 195/55R15 Tires
Drilled and slotted rotors

Sound system which includes Alpine CDE-102Jl, 2 JL12w3 subs, 500/1 mono block amp, custom box, amp rack and Wave guides (highs).

Matt has recently completed a custom Radiator mount set-up with his 'Monster' catch can.

One thing that impresses me about Matt is he's an All around good member. He shows support for the site by attending meets, and displaying the SK name. I've noticed on some of his additions to his ride that he still manages to make his mods unique even with all the Rios here. The light up emblem is great in the Grill.

Matt has taken pride in his vehicle and not only modifies it but also uses it to move around his other toys. I love to see the cars used for anything and everything to let others know, you don't have to have a 1st Place Car show winner to be selected for ROTM, just the right attitude and direction for you ride and keeping focused on what You like for your ride and not what the masses think.

As the warmer weather approaches and SK meets start to happen a few times a month across the country, we start to see first hand what members have been up to over the colder months and I'm glad to have Matt here on SK repping Virginia and showing others the love, time and use he gets from his ride.

What is your favorite thing about Kia?

My favorite thing about Kia is how much they have advanced in such a short period of time compared to other auto makers.

What is your favorite thing about your car?

It’s a 5 speed. My first 5 speed car. I love it.

What got you interested in Kia?

My parents owned a few and I was astonished by how nice they were on the inside and out.

What are some of your future mods for your rides?

Coilovers, Underglow, Procharger and moving the battery in the back. I want to do the Procharger since no one else has done one yet on the 2nd gen Rio yet (as far as I know)

Have you attended SK meets?

Yes I attended the NC meet which fell on my birthday (23) which was an added bonus for me. It was my 1st meet to. I wanna to attend more when they arise.

What are your current mods?

Megan racing springs, Rota slipstreams, tint, alpine and jl audio system, custom intake, Megan racing headers, exhaust, drilled rotors and lighting.

What do you hope to see in the future for Streetkiaz?

More people decking these cars out. I'm surprised what I have seen so far already.

What are your best memories about SK?

Easy one, Crazy-J for his rants. That guy can turn anyone's frowns upside down.

If you could give advice to members, what would it be?

If you have goals and dreams for your ride, do it. You will be astonished and proud about your creation.

Who was your biggest inspiration growing up and why?

My father hands down. He has helped me out through the passing years with this car.

How did you find Streetkiaz?

I was originally on kiaforum.com but I seen a link to this forum. I have never gone back to the kiaforum since then.

If you could choose between a decked out Kia Kee, and a decked out Kia Optima SX turbo, which would you pick?

Kia optima. (My choice also)

I would like to dedicate this achievement to CRAIG BERNIER, since this car came from him. With out his help from the start, I probably wouldn’t be where I'm at today. LOVE U BRO!
